Common causes:

Wrong file format: AIVA accepts PDF, Word (.docx), and Excel (.xlsx). Images (JPG, PNG) of CVs are not supported.
File too large: Maximum 10MB. Compress or re-export the PDF if needed.
Corrupted file: Try opening the file in another application to confirm it is readable.
Free credits used: The free tier includes 3 AIVA credits. Credits do not reset daily — contact us for bulk runs or see CONNECT plans.
Job title missing: The job title field is required — AIVA uses it to calibrate the score.

This appears when the Maya API request fails. Most common causes:

Query limit: After 10 Maya chat queries per session on aiscreeningtools.com, a soft gate appears asking for your email. Enter your email to continue.
Network issue: Check your connection and try again.
API timeout: Complex queries occasionally time out. Try rephrasing your question or ask something shorter.
Temporary outage: If the problem continues for more than a few minutes, email info@aiscreeningtools.com.

The free MCP tier allows 3 calls per day per IP address. To get 3 more free calls:

1. Go to aiscreeningtools.com/mcp-access.html
2. Enter your email address
3. You will receive a reset token starting with rst_
4. Pass the token as the api_key parameter in your MCP tool call

Tokens expire at midnight UTC. One token per email address per day. Paid tiers remove daily limits.

Common reasons a scan returns no data:

Private profile: The account must be public. Private Instagram, TikTok, or Twitter/X profiles cannot be scanned.
Wrong URL format: Paste the full profile URL (e.g. https://www.tiktok.com/@username), not just the username.
Platform not supported: Supported: Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter/X, YouTube. Other platforms return empty results.
Inactive account: Profiles with fewer than 5 public posts may return minimal data.

If the URL is correct and the profile is public, email info@aiscreeningtools.com with the profile URL.

CONNECT video submission email verification links expire after 24 hours. If your link has expired:

1. Submit a new video — a fresh verification email is sent automatically
2. Check your spam or junk folder for the original email
3. Make sure you entered the correct email address at submission

The employer console only shows videos with verified emails and approved moderation status. A video may be pending email verification or content review before it appears in the inbox.

If the navigation bar or page styling does not load:

1. Hard refresh: Press Ctrl+Shift+R (Windows/Linux) or Cmd+Shift+R (Mac) to bypass cache
2. Clear cache: Browser settings → clear cached images and files for aiscreeningtools.com
3. JavaScript disabled: The navigation requires JavaScript — check that it is enabled
4. Ad blocker: Some ad blockers intercept navigation scripts. Try disabling your ad blocker for this site.
