🔌 What "Your Own MCP Server" Means
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is how Claude and other AI agents connect to external tools and data. When you self-host, your installation includes a full MCP server that Claude connects to at your own domain.

This matters for regulated environments because:
- Claude sends screening requests directly to your server — the request never touches our API
- Candidate data, CV content, and scoring results stay inside your network
- You control which Claude tools are available, what data they can access, and which staff can use them
- Your MCP token system is separate from ours — you issue your own access tokens to your own staff

What you need to run it
- VPS — 8GB+ RAM, NVMe preferred. Hostinger KVM 4 (~$30/mo) works well. DigitalOcean, AWS EC2, Azure, Hetzner all supported.
- Domain name. Your brand, your URL. Traefik handles SSL automatically via Cloudflare DNS challenge.
- Bunny CDN account. For candidate video storage. ~$0.005/GB storage + $0.010/GB bandwidth. You own the library.
- Supabase account or self-hosted PostgreSQL. Supabase free tier works up to medium volume. For full air-gap, run PostgreSQL + pgvector on the same VPS.
- OpenAI API key. GPT-4o-mini for Maya chat, AIVA scoring, and job classification.
- Voyage AI API key. voyage-large-2 embeddings for pgvector semantic search.
- Anthropic API key. Claude claude-sonnet-4-6 for AIVA deep screening (optional — falls back to GPT-4o-mini).
- Brevo API key. Transactional email for candidate notifications and admin alerts.
- SightEngine API key. For video and photo moderation on candidate submissions (optional).
