SETUP CONNECT — Embed Video Screening on Your Platform

CONNECT adds video profiles, CV scoring, pre-hire chat, and live voice call to any job listing or platform. This guide covers all three ways to deploy the widget — no-code invite link, script embed, and direct API integration.

Three Ways to Deploy CONNECT Choose your method
Script Tag Embed
Add one line of JavaScript to any page. The widget loads inline inside your job listing. Full white-label available on Engage and Integrate tiers.
External Apply URL
Set the apply button on any ATS or job board to redirect to a CONNECT page. Candidate sees your branding. No code changes on your platform.
Method 1 — Screening Invite Link No code needed
Step 1
Open the Employer Console
Log in at aiscreeningtools.com/console/. New accounts use their email and the temporary password sent during setup. Demo access: click "Try Demo" on the console login page.
Step 2
Go to Invite to Interview
Click the "Invite to Interview" tab. Select the job role you are hiring for. Add up to 10 screening questions — for example: "Describe your customer service experience" or "What shift times are you available for?"
Step 3
Send the Link
Click "Send Invite." Copy the generated invite link. Send it to the candidate via any channel — email, WhatsApp, Viber, LINE, SMS, or paste it in a job ad response. The link expires after 30 days.
Step 4
Candidate Records Their Response
The candidate opens the link on any device. The widget loads with your questions visible. After a 3-second countdown, recording begins automatically. Maximum 3 minutes. The candidate enters their email at submission — we send a verification link. Once verified and moderated, the video appears in your inbox.
Step 5
Review in the Employer Inbox
Return to the console Inbox tab. Videos appear after email verification and SightEngine content moderation (usually under 60 seconds). Play the video, read the candidate's details, and make your call decision — without scheduling a single meeting.
Best for: Any recruiter who wants to start immediately. Send invite links directly from WhatsApp or Viber to candidate groups. No developer required.
Method 2 — Script Tag Embed For your website or job platform
Step 1
Add the widget script to your page
Add the following script tag anywhere in the HTML of your job listing page — before the closing </body> tag.
<script src="https://api.jobasean.com/static/connect-widget.js"></script>
Step 2
Add the widget trigger button
Add a button or link in your page HTML that triggers the CONNECT modal. The widget loads automatically when the page loads — your button just needs to call openConnectWidget().
<button onclick="openConnectWidget()">Record Video Profile</button>
Step 3
Configure the job role (optional)
To pre-fill the job role and employer ID, pass parameters when calling the function. Contact your deployment partner or Vaughn for your employer ID.
Best for: Platforms where you manage the HTML — your own job board, company career page, or WordPress site. Engage and Integrate tiers remove the "Powered by AI Vision Automations" badge.
Note: The widget requires camera and microphone access in the browser. Candidates on older iOS browsers may need to update Safari. Android Chrome works on all versions.
Method 3 — External Apply URL For ATS and job boards
Step 1
Generate a standing invite link
Create an invite link in the console for the job role. This link does not expire per candidate — any candidate who opens it can record a response. Use this as your "Apply Now" destination URL.
Step 2
Set the Apply URL on your ATS or job board
In your ATS (Workable, Lever, Greenhouse, JobStreet, etc.) or job board post, set the external apply URL to the CONNECT invite link. When a candidate clicks Apply, they land on the CONNECT recording screen — not a text form.
Step 3
Videos arrive in your inbox
All submissions from that invite link appear in your employer inbox in the console. Filter by job role to see only candidates who applied for a specific position.
Best for: Companies that already use an ATS or job board and want to add video screening without changing their existing workflow. Zero code required. Zero ATS integration required.

This CONNECT setup guide covers all three deployment methods for adding video profiles, CV scoring, pre-hire chat, and live voice call to any job listing or platform. Method 1 — Screening Invite Link — requires no code: generate a link from the employer console, send it to candidates via WhatsApp, Viber, LINE, or email, and videos arrive in the inbox after email verification and SightEngine content moderation. Method 2 — Script Tag Embed — adds the widget to any HTML page with a single JavaScript line pointing to api.jobasean.com/static/connect-widget.js; Engage and Integrate tiers allow white-label with your logo and domain. Method 3 — External Apply URL — works with any ATS including Workable, Lever, Greenhouse, and JobStreet by pointing the Apply button at a standing CONNECT invite link, requiring zero ATS integration. The employer console inbox shows verified candidate name, job role, submission date, tier badge, NEW badge for unviewed videos, and the Bunny CDN player. Video storage ranges from 30 days on the Intro tier to 12 months on Integrate — candidates can record responses on any device with a camera.
